Module 6

      Very often I hear the question: "Have you ever been to Germany for example?" With pleasure i tell the people which countries I have visited last years. Almost all people travelled all over the world in their life. For example Paul had a brilliant time in Australia. He has made his dream come true: he swam with dolphins. For example Sarah had a lot of things to see and explored in Egypt. She was in the desert with the Pyramids. Also she has ridden a camel. But as for me James has got a really great experience in Italy. He has climbed up Mount Etna. It is the largest active volcano in Europe.

      Another way to explore our world is to be a volunteer. Being a volunteer changes your life. You learn about different cultures. But I think it is not simple to volunteer as it seems. Volunteers work in many different places around the world, including Cameroon, Nepal, Indonesia. They help people to bring positive changes.
     Visiting countries all over the world you shouldn't forget about the cultural habits. Many Chinese people will look at the ground when they greet you. It is a way to show respect. For example in Europe and the USA people shake always hands with a firm grip for showing strength of character, but for Turkish people it is a sign of anger. I have read of the fact, that in Poland yellow flowers uses at funerals and you shouldn't come at a party with them. In Italy yellow flowers indicate jealousy. For example in Malaysia it is rude to point at someone with your index finger, in Russia the same thing is impolite.
     There are some strange travel experiences. One young man was in London and one weird thing happened to him. He got on a London bus under number 7. The bus went through a strange part of London where houses, people looked old-fashioned. This man found out that such a bus with number 7 doesn't exist since 1958. Another 2 young men decided to go camping in mountains. They heard a strange noise like a creature was in pain. They ran as fast as they could back to their tent and called the ranger who came to pick them up. They never found out what that noise was.
    While travelling around the world all people use the mobile phones. It is convenient. Millions of people use mobile phones to keep in touch with friends and family. A mobile phone is actually a sophisticated radio that uses radio waves to communicate, like a really good walkie-talkie. A lot of us can't live without gadgets. But sometimes embarrassing moments happen while using the mobile phone. One man bought a really cool smartphone and he was so busy going through the menu when suddenly he walked smack-bang into someone. It was really funny seeing at him like he was a circus clown with ice-cream all over his face.
Travelling, exploring a lot of countries people get the possibility to make their life more interesting!

Module 5

Life in the past is much interesting than life at this moment in my opinion. I am interested in history and this module is full of rich information.
Pompeii was an ancient Roman city near Naples and Mt Vesuvius, a volcano in Italy. Pompeii was a busy city and in the centre there was a large marketplace and a forum. In Pompeii there was a large amphitheater and two smaller theatre. Pompeii had public baths, backers, restaurants and even a hotel. Unfortunately this city was destroyed by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius and buried it under ash.
Another ancient civilisation was Egyptian. Ancient Egyptians lived along the banks of the River Nile.The ancient Egyptians built houses and gigantic pyramids from stone. They hunted for animals and went fishing on the River Nile. In their free time they played music or board games. Ancient Egypt had a great civilisation.
I was impressed by reading of native Americans. When the Europeans arrived on the continent there were many different tribes. The Kwakiutl were fishermen.They had large wooden houses. They had canoes for fishing, hunting and trading. The Navajo were farmers and grew crops. They lived in houses made of earth and wood. The women farmed, looked after the children and did the house work. The men hunted and protected the tribe. At first, the Cheyenne lived like the Navajo. When the Europeans brought horses to America, they left their farms and moved from place to place.
But most I was impressed by the ancient Inca site in the Andes Mountains in Peru. The Incas were clever people and they knew how to do many things. They were also good farmers, they grew potatoes, corn. Machu Picchu was a great city. A lot of people lived there, but one day, they left and no one knows why.
History of different countries are attractive to me. For example our country had a really great impress Catherine the Great. She developed the arts and sciences in Russia. During her reign she made Russia a great nation. Catherine also improved the country's educational system.
UK had also legendary figures. Merlin was one of the most fascinating figures in British mythology. He was a wizard, a poet, a teacher and an advisor to kings. One day, Merlin had a vision tat the King's son, Arthur, was in great danger. Merlin advised the King to send his son to live in the forest and Merlin became his guardian and teacher. Now-days Merlin continues to fascinate people whenever they hear his story.
As we see from Merlin's story the UK is an interesting country. The Englishmen liked always music, dance, fashion, films very much. Music was very important to teenagers in the 1960. The Beatles and the Rolling Stones were everywhere at that time: on the radio, on TV. Most people had a television at hone in the '60s.

Module 4

There are so many different stories in the world, for example, the mall of America is the largest shopping store in America.
 There are 512 stories in this mall.
 For about 4 million people travel there
. In addition to shops there are markets.
In London there is a very huge market its name is Camden Stables market. They sell lollipops, sausage, ham, shrimp, etc. At these markets, products are bought by people who do not want to go home.
Many countries have their own traditional breakfasts. For example, in Japan the traditional breakfast is soup and some steamed rice, fish and vegetables. The United Kingdom traditional breakfast is a ''fry-up'' that includes a lot of fried food, eggs, mushrooms, bacon, sausages and tomatoes with baked beans. Polish people like a breakfast fresh bread and creamy butter with a lot of choice. They prepare scrambled eggs, cold meats, sliced tomatoes and many different types of cheese for the breakfast table. Traditional Ukrainian and Russian food is borscht. Borscht contains meat, tomato juice, and vegetables.
Generally food is really important in our lives. Some people live in the tundra climate, which characterises by cold weather and low temperatures and there is also a short summer season. During the long winter months it is dark most of the day and people who work in the tundra climate need to get the hearty meal and sure the meal that includes all vitamins. Although people don't live in the desert climate, but some of them (for example the Beduins) can go through the deserts with their camels and the water is the most important here than the food.

Food is different in the world. But we should care which food is natural. For example  - Honey. Honey is a natural sugar. Sugar is bad for us, for our stomach and can make us fat, but honey is natural and it contains all the ingredients our bodies need.

Module 3

We don't know how wild the world is. You can understand it when you a wildlife photographer for example. This job is quite tiring and dangerous, but full of happiness, because you can see the beauty of nature and share it through the pictures.

Also there is another job: this is to milk the snakes. This job is very important. For example Bill and his team make medicine from the snakes' venom.

In Africa the wild nature is everywhere. Maybe it sounds strange, but this is a normal morning at the Giraffe Manor, a hotel in Kenya. Every morning before 9 o'clock, the giraffe walks over and put their heads through the open windows to see what's for breakfast.We should respect the wild nature and live close to them with understanding that there are rare animals.

By the way there is a job like a veterinary who helps to save the animals' lives. A lot of people choose this job and like this job, although it is hard work, but different every day. I have heard of the family where almost all persons of the family were the vets: grandfather,grandmother and his son...and then the son's wife and then granddaughter and grandson became the vets; this is the whole dynasty to treat animals!

There was a really famous animal in the world: the brown Bear lives in the mountains and forests of Russia.This big and beautiful animal is a favourite character of Russian fairytales and cartoons.

Module 2

Many houses have a different shape. For example, the shape of a seashell, a spaceship. But there are also VIP houses, there are houses on the water, and there are houses of sightseeing. People choose their own houses. Someone will choose a VIP house, and someone will choose a house in the form of a seashell.
All people have different preferences.If you live in a house in the shape of a seashell, then you probably will have plants everywhere, you will have two floors with a grass carpet, with a bathroom, a small bedroom and a kitchen.Well, if you have a house in space, then you don’t need to think about washing clothes, vacuuming, etc.

Also if people want to live near the park, they can choose a house close to the Central Park for example. There is a 6-mile path through beautiful trees and it is a great way to see this huge park. But some persons have intention of living in a fantastic skyscraper with the wonderful view.

If you want your house on the water, then you need to go to Peru on floating islands of Lake Titicaca. 

By the way these floating islands are home to about 300 people named the Uros people. Each house has a different view from their window every day. Choosing life on Uros islands your life will be very simple. All men on the islands are fishermen. The women are at home with the children. I think it is the simple way to live, but absolutely unique way of life!Let's have such a life as we want all!!!

For example, there are sightseeings such as the Eiffel Tower, Space Needle, Eureka Skydeck 88. The Triumph Palace it is one of the VIP and luxury buildings.This building has got hundred of flats.This building is only for popular and famous people.All people choose their homes what they like best.

Many people have nations and live in their own countries, for example : polish live in Poland, english live in England, American live in the USA. People have their hobbies and sports which they are engaged in and people who go in for sport and have idols, it's good.

All have job except children, their job is getting knowledge and learning a lot of interesting things. All countries have a flag and a flag has its colours, every colour means something, for example in the flag of Russia consists the white, blue and red colour and this is a symbol of the country. People have different bodies, someone is fat or thin, someone is tall or low and all people have different faces and hair.

Every country has its own customs, for example: a woman from Borneo, she has very long ears, because of her big earrings and in Africa people have brown skin.There are many kinds of sports and everyone chooses his favourite sport. There are such sports as swimming, hockey or football. All people on earth have the skills for example to dance, to ride a car, to cook, to do many other things. There is no such person who can not do anything. In the world there is such a game which is called gorodki. In this game you need to have a bat and skittles and so on.
It is really fantastic that we all are different.
